Meet the 2019-20 Drama Majors Committee ("DMC") Representatives and the role that each representative plays on the committee.

Co-Chair: Jacob Ettkin '21

Jacob (he/him/his) oversees all DMC activities and serves as the primary liaison between Drama Faculty and majors. This includes attending select faculty meetings, overseeing the budget, and writing monthly updates to be included in the department newsletter. He has experience working as a director and dramaturg, new work development, arts administrator, and occasionally acts on the side.

Co-Chair: Chloe Catoya '20

Chloe serves as Co-Chair for the Drama Majors Committee. She is heavily involved with departmental and student music and theatre groups on campus.

Technical Liaison: Mollie Lipkowitz '20

Mollie (she/her/hers) serves as a point of communication between the department and drama majors who are interested in design, management, and technical aspects of theatre. She seeks out workshops and talks that are geared toward these areas, and exists as a voice for other students if there are concerns or questions related to the technical aspects of the drama major.

Performance Liaison: Martin Nikolov '20

Martin (he/his) serves as a point of communication between the department and drama majors who are interested in acting and directing in the department. His focus this year will be making sure that all drama majors can find the opportunities to collaborate with their fellow art students and practice their crafts. Martin is an actor and filmmaker, focusing on the worlds of TV and film, and is here to address both your questions about our '19/'20 season and anything else students are doing on campus!

Programming Coordinator: Abby Lass '21

Abby (she/her/hers) has experience as a director, actor, choreographer, sound designer, dramaturg, and intimacy coordinator and enjoys planning community-building events for her peers. When not working on shows, she enjoys cross stitching and looking at corgis.

Senior Representative: Julianna DeAngelis '20

Julianna is responsible for sending weekly emails to seniors, updating the class on DMC and Department information, and will act as the point person for concerns, questions, and ideas. Julianna serves as a channel through which drama majors can direct questions regarding ongoing senior projects, postgrad plans, and any other related topics.

Junior Representative: Alexa Lyons '21

Alexa is responsible for sending weekly emails to juniors, updating the class on DMC and Department information, and act as the point person for concerns, questions, and ideas for the betterment of the major. Alexa will stay focused on the issues pertaining to senior project proposals, and take careful concern to keep the juniors (abroad or on campus) informed about the process.

Sophomore Representative: Sarah Berry Pierce '22

Sarah is responsible for sending weekly emails to sophomores, updating the class on DMC and Department information. Sarah is also a contact person if you have questions, complaints, or concerns about anything Drama Department related. The three biggest things the sophomore rep navigates are JYA questions, Sources concerns, and summer internship questions.

First Year Representative: TBD

The first year representative is responsible for sending weekly emails for first years, updating the class on DMC and Department information, and act as the point person for any questions, concerns, and ideas about the major. The representative can help answer any questions about declaring and providing first years with more information about the department (and how to get into DRAM 103).
