The Drama Department Annual Playwriting Competition
The Marilyn Swartz Seven ’69 Playwriting award is a fund established to support this annual competition. The friends and classmates of the late Ms. Seven have established it for all Vassar College junior and senior students.
About the Competition
The author of the winning play receives a $1,000 award, certificate. The Drama Department will host a staged reading directed by a guest director along with a small reception for special guests. Entry forms and play submissions are accepted late Fall and the winner is announced in early Spring each academic year.
